The grips on mine are rubber.
Better to help hold on better.
Fancy grips are, in my mind, like fancy wheels on a car.
Of no real usefulness, other than to look at.
But then, I do like to complain.
A privilege of old age.
Don’t mind me, carry on please.

The best grips I’ve found are the good ole rubber ones, like from Pacmayr and such.
The others may look nicer, but are generally too slippery for good control of the handgun.
Guess it comes down to admiring your pistol or using it.

Speaking if pistols, has anyone ever heard of the repeating flintlock pistol from the 1700s called the puckle gun?
It’s supposed to be the very first rapid firing handgun.
