Well today was an interesting day. I had to start off the new year with a big bang to say the least. It was pretty find the range but a blistering cold and my fingers were quite numb but well worth it. Today on this new year I got to play with the 20 mm destructive device yet again. Man oh man never gets old so I decided take a proper photo of myself to give you an idea in size comparison.

On a serious note, how does that thing work. what is meant by a destructive device?

Well a destructive device is a classification by the ATF under the NFA. It. Is that the caliber is above .500 or 50 caliber and anything above this caliber measurement is considered a destructive device, except for shotguns and muskets. You have to register the device like any other NFA item AKA suppressors, machine guns, AOW,SBR and SBS. The rifle is fired through a battery packed which sets off activates the electric primer. Unlike the kinetic primers that we used to.
