3 Gun Stage with a Full Auto UMP 45

White targets require 1 hit, blue require 2 hits, yellow require 3 hits, and the white torsos with a “4” on them require 4 hits. This was a pretty fun outlaw match that provided some interesting (and fun) changes to how I normally compete. Variety like that is awesome.

I guess I’ll just have to shoot slower next time.

Please no, never, unless its part of the stage,

but, a longer video clip of full auto fire yes, definitely!

Longer videos of full auto fire gets so dang expensive so fast though! lol

Hate to say it but some times UTube is right - videos should be a minimum of 10 minutes, radio friendly or short vignettes just don’t cut it.

Personal preference really.

If I made a match video that was 10 minutes long, it would literally be less than 3 minutes of shooting and 7 minutes of filler. There is also plenty of “how to” videos that should be less than 2 minutes because otherwise it’s a minute or two of actual content and 8 minutes of junk. There is a lot of content out there that should not be 10 minutes long in any way.

All that being said, I could experiment with some InRange TV style discussion about the stage. I’m coming at this as a competitor and a lot of people out there aren’t competitors so watching stage only footage might not work well for them, even though I do like videos like that. But if I add some discussion talking about what went well, what didn’t go well, what I learned, what was fun, etc. Still don’t know how practical it would be to make a 10+ minute video about a 20 second stage, but I could still get more in there.

I’m getting some ideas… so the feedback is appreciated.

think of it like a essay and in this case a video essay - opening, introduction, body, summary. conclusion. You also take the time to pre-answer some of the expected question using the good old Who, What, Where. When and Why.

  • Opening is the start beep.
  • Introduction is getting into the first position.
  • Body is the stage.
  • Summary & conclusion is the finishing shot & the stage time

Covering ALL who, what, where, when, and why would be way too much and pointless for just a local club match video. It’s a lot of unnecessary filler content and I don’t want filler content for filler content’s sake - those types of videos drive me bonkers. Way too much fluff for way too little content. Oh man those videos with pointless fluff to increase the time for increasing the time’s sake drive me so bonkers.

I have some ideas for adding more to it, but I would rather have too little than have too much fluff.
