Does anyone have any information and experience on the 300 PRC…?
Both the Cartridge and available Rifles…!
Not me, trying to decide on a rifle or?
Here’s some information.
That cartridge sounds sexy, I’m excited about it. The article says the only production rifle so far is a Barrett, and ammo isn’t commercially available.
I’m waiting to see if a standard action cartridge unseats the .300 WM
Now if they would chamber the Ruger Precision Magnum in it.
I would be interested if Ruger did offer their RPR in this Caliber as I need those high BC bullets and a bit more power…!
I already have a RPR in .308 and it’s a great Rifle and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one.
I am sorry guys but for distance shooting and effectiveness, I have experience with 50 Cal as being well “received” at long or short distances
But you younger fellas with good eyesight may like the 300 PRC, but remember Barrett has a contract for that in MRAD as well as the M107, am I wrong?.
I can’t disagree with you 50 Cal guys and we can own them over this side of the pond, as long as Bolt Action.
Not many places you can shoot them over hear but a 50 Cal is definitely on my shopping list…!
You will always smile and feel like you have accomplished a very nice addition to your personal history.
Christensen Arms is now offering their bolt guns in 300 PRC.
300 PRC is now available in the Ruger Precision Rifle. MSRP $2100.
