Its a prime number so I hope that means this purchase was a good one
Never have I had such a difficult time finding a vehicle as I’ve had these last few months, drove home pretty well, you don’t want to be behind it when its kicked down, it moves and leaves a black cloud, 7.3 with four rows of seating
but also a Quigley and Quadravan plus a good number of 2wd Vans, didn’t know they’d become classics some day, bought a mid 70’s van off a hooker once, red interior lights, thick monkey fur, velvet, leather and shag carpet, was pretty nice, slant six though, wasn’t a fan of that, likely why I sold it, don’t recall, have had three factory stick shifts including one that was on the floor, that was wild.
Up here being a ride share for Amish is a thing, could fit a few in this new one, might need a step latter though
I remember your vans from a few years ago, remember one pic when one of them was covered in snow, I just look for any reason to pick on Belt-Fed even though his van life has always been in question.
That was Red Max, I had big plans for it but they went bust, I sold it for I believe 2500 to a guy in Belgium, here’s pics from his last update, time for me to reach out for another
Yeah, he was easy to deal with despite the language barrier, he used google translate and different terms to describe things, I believe he said he was an under water welder, I took a look to see and had too many emails to read through, I did see a couple times where I was letting him know it was a lot of work and tried to allow and even encouraged him to back out, but he was ready, just getting it to him was a process, he bought a ton of parts here and shipped to my house in advance as their dollars really seemed to go far here, have to wonder how much more so that might be now, then paid someone to take it to a NJ dockyard, I had to remove that roll cage and AC unit so it would fit in a cargo container
Friend I grew up with his parents had a dodge tradesman I believe, used it for deliveries (wine I recall) so it just had 2 seats and a shell interior. They would let him drive it on weekends this was back in the 70’s so seatbelts for all wasn’t a thing. You could pack some people in that thing.
Looks like a decent new rig for your adventures there @Robert
I actually went to College to get a degree in Under water basket weaving I flunked out cause I couldnt hold my breath long enough to finish a single basket
