Hello,

I’ve searched around, and can’t seem to find any information on whether or not to use lead rounds ( non coated ) in a XDM 5.25…? Simply for basic target shooting.

Anyone with experience on this topic?

XDM should have conventional rifling in the barrel, so it should not be a problem. A quick word of advice from someone that has shot lead. When you clean your bore and chamber in your pistol use Hoppies 9. It will aid in any lead fowling between the land and groves in the barrel.

Hey if you are casting and loading those bullets, powder coating takes away all the headaches!
