Knowing the 9th’s record it most likely was politically motivated by Trumps asylum city comments.
I think he scared the hell out of the Pelosi Fienstien crowd when they realized their rhetoric could result in them actually having to deal with the problem.
They most likely were immediately on the phone telling the Judges how to respond.
He called their bluff and they got frightened.

Seems to be pretty predictable pattern in general with Trump lately . A South Florida news paper was trying to sway opinion against him in his response to North Florida hurricane relief on the morning of a Panama City rally where something like 440 million was slated to help the recovery . Less than a day to show the bias against him
