A belated Happy Star Wars Day to everyone. Today is of course Revenge of the 5th and it was an amazing Mail Time thanks to our friend Paul over at EAA.
The red laser is a Sith Modelā¦Someone must think you a bad guy
i am an Empire guy, yes, i do not consort with rebel scum, but are the Jedi actually the good guys? do you think abducting small children and indoctrinating them into a life of servitude is āgoodā? something to consider
Which episode explains that scenario?
And arenāt Jedi priests, of which Vader is one who works the dark side of the force?
It is in one of the prequels
oh i like that one
that theory echos through all of the cannon as well as the extra material as well. the sith adhere to the rule of two, so they do not prey on children to bolster ranks. this is very clear in the phantom menace (even though that movie sucked). both the light an dark side of the force can coexist. both extremes are a perversion of the force. a trained Jedi who did this woudl be shunned of course, though there were some throughout the timeline who did and accepted their exile from the order. the sith do not share in this all or nothing approach. while steeped in the dark side of course, they are particularly interested in using some of the light side skills, such as thsoe which pertain to ālife forceā. this is how palpatine was able to keep anakin alive long enough to do the mechanical mods and also how he survived in Jedi to return in rise of skywalker. i love me some yoda, and he was one of the top 5 most powerful force users, but ādo or do not, there is no tryā really? come on. this is an example of how Jedi work in absolutes, which is crazy. also, worth noting that just like with Grogu in Mandalorian (more recent example) there are some powerful and awesome force sensitive being outside the Sith and Jedi. those really lean into both sides pretty heavily, keep the balance so to speak. the witches of dathomir are one example as are the knight sisters⦠sorry went off a little geeky there for a minute
A regular Jedi /Sith afficianado I see .
