I’m a steel frame guy more than just a 1911 guy, so I can handle it just fine. I do own a Star BM after all. The badass little brother of John Browning’s brilliant work. :cowboy_hat_face:

Browning actually considered the hi power an improvement and he preferred 9mm, supposedly. The Hi Power had two geniuses behind its creation, John Moses Browning and Dieudonné Saive. Im not big into surplus stuff but Hi Powers are pure class.

he has a 55 series too and so tempted (may be a Danish Contract) but with out a hands on, it is hard to tell.
once the two new family members show up there will be a much better presentation and introduction.
