I tried it with a Chevy Cavalier once. It’s tough to back up down a mountain trail when it gets too narrow.

Only if a parachute would work on that drop off. I don’t think it would deploy, so no. I learned years ago that I’m no longer made of the same steel I was 50+ years ago. Lots of downside, no upside that I can see, so no.
