Look… we’ve all thought about it, but you can’t go shooting your kids with a BB gun when they act up.

Move along.

Ever think about 22cb shells? Primer, no powder. As quiet or more quiet than many air guns

I’ve got this. And it’s fucking awesome. Field strips like a real one and gets good FPS.

  • 325 fps
  • Blowback Action
  • All metal frame
  • Shoots .177 Caliber Steel BBs
  • 18 round drop-free magazine
  • CO2 housed in the drop-free magazine
  • Barrel length: 4.5 inches
  • Overall length: 8.5 inches

I use it as my dry fire and handling practice tool.

This forum sucks with links.

Oh and I also own this, well the wife does. Very high quality.

  • Licensed by Dan Wesson and Manufactured by ASG
  • Package Includes: (1) Revolver, (1) Speedloader w/ 6 Shells, (1) Removeable Tactical Rail
  • Revolver has an adjustable rear sight and includes an attachable tactical rail for mounting accessor
  • Suggested Use: Plinking | Caliber: 0.177 | Velocity: 318fps | Ammo Type: Steel BBs
  • Airgun Mechanism: CO2 | Mag Capacity: 6 | Revolver Weight: 1.9 lbs | Fire Mode: Repeater

I wanna get the 6” barrel version. These make great training tools for not only practice but new (very) young or very timid shooters.

In case anyone here hasn’t noticed I collect replica BB/pellet guns.

My two CO2 SAA’s next to two real wheelguns.

Never heard of these to be honest. Do they actually fire a projectile?

I kinda like the idea of the peacemaker. Question it list one a BB gun and one as pellet gun but they look both like the have the same cartridge so I’m a little confused? Does it do both or just one or the other?

Oh yes

Actually, I think I was thinking of the Aguila cobri

So these do both. They have faux “shells” you put either .177 BBs or .177 Pellets in. Both the Peacemakers and Dan Wesson do this. The great thing is it is perfect practice for the real thing. Mine even do the C-O-L-T cocking of the hammer.

Yes, it’s from a time when the market had things that were referred to as ‘parlor guns’, ‘saloon guns’ or ‘gallery guns’. The concept came about in the 1800s, when indoor shooting ranges were set up, and low powered target guns were made for those indoor ranges (very limited backstop). Primer, casing, and a (lighter than normal) bullet, but little or no powder charge, to keep the velocity down to a point where it wasn’t going to be penetrating a board behind the target.

Here’s some more info on the .22CB ammo.

Our Crossman 760 .177 pump up must have a 100+ tree rat notches on it.
Our .22 pellet pump up Benjamin for bigger yard game.
Most CO/2 and spring powered BB guns come up short IMHO
