I’m almost afraid to ask this because I’m afraid it get a D-uh response, but here goes. Have any or most of you read “patriots”? Those of you heading to Idaho reminded me of the book where a group of like minded folks, all with diverse and important skills, all bought the same guns, trucks, etc…

If you haven’t, it’s a good read.

By James Rawles? Yes, I have. I agree it’s good, but I thought it would never end, lol. Good stuff to consider in there too.

I also read two others in that series- Survivors and Founders. Same disaster from different viewpoints.

I’m kind of lazy about reading. Have they made it into a movie?

Yes, I’ve read ‘Patriots’ and all of the subsequent novels. I also just finished ‘Unintended Consequences’ by John Ross. Looking to get into the ‘Home’ series by Chris Weatherman (aka Angery American).

The home series is fun. He DEFINITELY needs an editor. There are holes in the story but still very enjoyable.
