Here’s what I’ll be doing all day tomorrow. And no, she’s not my date. I know how some of you think. We have a gang coming over to reduce this over 400 lb. beast to sausage, cracklins, boudin, ribs, back bone stew, etc… A lot of the guys are musicians so we’ll have good cajun music most of the day and lots of good eats. It is a lot of work but a really good time as well. My daughter invited a few kids from school. It’s always good to pass on the traditions of our culture. I’ll try to post pics from the day, probably Monday. Wish you all could be there.

Well, it’s been a while and I hope this works. A friend put this together and posted it on FB and here is the link to it. I hope everyone can see it. It is pretty long. I don’t know if it works for everyone the way it did for me, but I opened the link and it took a bit for it to all open up and then itits the video a little down on the page. ENJOY

I just watched it for the first time. He didn’t get a lot of what was going on but you can see it was a good time. Toward the beginning that was me grinding meat and my daughter helping. During the tiny pot cooking that was my son with the black shirt with “Penetration Specialist” on it. That’s about drilling safes. My other son was playing the bass with his son “helping out”. His daughter was the little one wearing the mask. All in all it was a good day. I only wish more musicians had come. No one brought an accordian so the music as a little light.
