Budget prepper hand guns

So I was showing a bunch of this category of guns to people today
We have about 10 S&w sdve 9mm with two mags for 249 that’s hard to beat

What say you folks
Just a open discussion
Caniks are really nice at sub 300 dollars

I bought a S&W Sigma 9 about 10-11 years ago. It has a horrendous trigger pull but always goes bang (as long as I clean it). I have at least 6 mags for it and it is in my go bag because I can have 85 rds loaded in those mags.
That said, I have been looking at the Caniks recently. I have a couple of 80% pistol frames to finish first.

Maybe from somewhere on this site, I don’t remember, but I stumbled across a Tokarev (sp) for $189.

I’ll take the Canik, it’s three times the gun that smith is.That Smith has a horrible trigger, and I mean horrible. I put a trigger kit in it and it went from horrible to bad. The caniks work right out of the box.

My vote for the prepper pistol would be a .22
With the correct technique a .22 will serve as a defensive weapon.
More importantly, it will be an excellent tool for food gathering.

While I agree with you on the sdve triggers
Mine has a lot of work in it and is a decent trigger now
Price point being what it is you can buy 2 of these for the price of a new Glock
And can be stored in bug out bags or Cached
For future use

The Turkish guns are phenomenal for a value weapon I just wish the general public knew more about how well they function

I keep the smith in the truck, if it gets stolen I have an excuse to buy a real gun.lol The trigger on it was so bad I couldn’t hit nothing with it. you had to pull the trigger a country mile and all the way against the guard. A hard trigger pull. I couldn’t get no kind of accuracy with it. the canik, right from the box…

Stop buying guns from Islamic terrorists then bitching about the former president giving gun money to Islamic terrorists in the same breath.
