Caliber debate of the week: .40 S&W vs .357 Sig

In my pompous opinion the .357 Sig is far superior for multiple reasons

1)It’s flatter shooting/more accurate

2)The tapered cartridge means it will feed more reliably

3)Better penetration capability

I like bottle necks, tend to load without issues

the 357 is fast, which I like

I like 458 mag the best.

Yeah, this one would have been better if you chose .357 mag vs .357 sig

The 357 sig is just better than the 40 hands down.

On the other hand some may prefer the .357 mag cause of its power and some may prefer the sig because its semi auto, has mags, and more rounds

.357 Sig and .40 were rivals for a bit. Similar rounds in some ways too.

.357 mag vs 10mm is a better one, imo. Only issue is .357 mag is a revolver round with limited capacity.

You need another choice as in neather.

.357 Sig… truthfully its what I SHOULD carry instead of 9mm.

Only problem with .357Sig, is that I can find a .357Sig conversion barrel for a Glock 35, I have a spare Polymer80 PF940v2 frame waiting to be finished (and have a .40S&W ejector for it), but I can’t find a Glock 35 stainless slide.

I don’t know I might have to get a new wheel gun.
