Never had a issue carrying a 1911 over a few decades
Pretty much the same size.
Good holster and belt are paramount for any carry option IMHO

Belt and holster are key. Over the years I’ve tested many a holster, and many a belt. If either one is bad, neither will work well.

I just shake my head when people will drop $500-$1000 on a gun, then buy a $20 holster and use the belt that came with a pair of pants. A good holster will cost you around $50+, and a good belt is about the same.
