Can you put a price limit on a gun?

Hey everyone!
My question to you all is have you or do you limit the price you’ll pay for a firearm?
To give an example I will not pay more than $1500 for a polymer pistol. I have seen Glocks for $2500.00 and to me that just seems too much for that type of gun. Now I know we all have different opinions for the types of guns we all like so what are your limitations on spending?

I got a limit. I just don’t know what it is yet.

Got to be quality, & I got to have the $$$. I just coughed up cash for the 308 Tavor 7. In my opinion it was worth it! I personally won’t spend more than $500 on Glocks because they don’t warrant the excessive $700 price tag they come with now a days. I guess It comes down to opinions, how bad you want something, how much you’re willing to shell out

I agree, they should be a $400 or less gun

1st Glock I bought new(G30) 450.00 if I recall correctly, was a fair price. Now their double the without any improvement or new innovation , I just don’t see it. Just my opinion of course

I was really into the Beretta PX4 for quite some time. I had (and still have for that fact) a strict policy to never pay more than $400 for one -any model, any caliber. So far, so good. :slightly_smiling_face:

$500 ish for a pistol, maybe 700ish for the parts for a rifle not counting optics.

My limit is no glock. Won’t go there

It just depends on what it is and how much the gun is AND how bad I want it. I can remember selling thousands of Glocks @$479 brand new out of the gun store. $539 for the 30,36, 21 and 20. $549 w/ night sights for the 9,357sig, and40’s.

They have the worst stock sights and a mushy trigger…they have the ergonomics of a black and Decker drill. Still not shit guns but definitely not my top choice or even top 20…

I will go $1500 on a rifle and $1000 for a pistol before I get iffy. Sometimes more though, I sometimes miss my Les Baer 1911 and my Colt 1911 and I paid about 1k for the Colt and 2k for the Baer…plastic pistols are $750 guns tops unless they are really decked out, imo.

The most I have spent is $800 on a 1911. But if I had the cash to spare I might spend more . I do own $1500 plus guns but don’t have near that in them.

You mean out the door price or including anything else you get for it?

Just for the gun…accessories can get spendy. For example with AR15s they can be a money pitt due to the never ending aftermarket

Maybe $550 polymer gun,$1200 revolver or 1911 (those would just be personal extreme wants),$800 for an ar or ak,$900 bolt rifle

Hahaha!! That’s a great answer.

The gen5 i bought last has a stock trigger that isn’t horrendous, this G45 came w/decent metal night sights & much better ergonomics .
