Chuck Taylor on firearm training

That was an excellent interview. But I can’t imagine anyone with years on their frame not thinking , “Hey, he’s saying exactly what I believe and know.”. For years my philosophy has been “It’s not the bow, it’s the Indian.”. And I’ve strived to be the Indian. The right bow helps when one gets to that point, but one needs to get there before the right bow is of any use.

I’ve got some of his training books from years ago and they are still good today. Now I know why. I would shake his hand and I’d have an adult beverage with him. Heck, I’d invite him to my home and probably feel as though we’d known each other for years after having just met.
