Indeed. Older Smiths (mid 80’s and earlier) have skyrocketed in value since the early 2000’s. In the 1990’s, you could buy them all day long for $300. Not any more.

eh, if we have to go new style I’d stick with S&W,

actually, same for old style, I’ve had a number of them, only 1 or 2 Colts and only 1 Ruger as I recall
