Download YouTube or other videos for offline viewing

Ok, that’s a relief. Possibly the problem is that it wants python 2, which works differently than python 3. Many systems will install the two side-by-side. Try installing python or maybe python2.

all that work and stress is why people favor UI systems where you push a button some other person engineered to work, kudo’s for seeing it through :+1:

I know just enough Linux to get myself into trouble, so I look at this as a learning experience.

FYI, as a bonus, I was in fact able to download some videos. Haven’t figured out the scheduling part yet, but close. Using the at cmd , which seems to only work with scripts. That’s fine as I can put in a whole list that way. My test run last night was preempted by Windows update and reboot :rage:, so it’s pushed out to tonight.
