Dream Hunt, What's Yours?

If money, time off, physical limitations or destination weren’t an issue, what & where would you pursue? What’s your ideal dream hunt?
I have 2. The 1st would be Red Stag in New Zealand. The 2nd would be a Monter Whitetail hunt in Saskatchewan. (Texas wild hog hunt from a helicopter with thermal vision mounted on the mini gun would be interesting!)

Plan on using a street sweeper?

Nothing needed to kill hogs here, you can hunt them with spotlights.

You gotta be close, a 6.5 or 308 on an AR platform works well.

If i had the cash, I’d have an AR 10 with thermal scope set up for night time

No you don’t, at least not that I’m aware of.

Most states try to eradicate them.

Here in Ohio, as hunters we’re encouraged by the ODNR to kill them on sight and all you need to have is a valid hunting licence. Any hunting implement is legal 24/7/365. Night hunting with thermos scopes, spotlights, whatever it takes to get rid of them.

They are considered a nuisance in the state and those animals create a lot of property/crop damage.

I’ve done some bore hunting down in Arkansas in the Ozarks. I killed three of them within my first hour and oh buddy, that was a blast let me tell ya!

Two with my compound bow and one with my 30-30 Marlin.

Both bow kills were recovered within 50 yards of impact.

The rifle dropped him in his tracks head-shot!

Good eaten too! In fact, I’m thinking about doing another hog hunt, perhaps towards the spring. We’ll see how I do with my deer season first though. Need to make sure my freezer can handle it after the deer season is over.

Fortunately/UNFORTUNATELY the little piggies haven’t found PA yet. Still awaiting the zombie apocalypse here too, that’s why I bought half my shit!!

They are trimming my trees on the power lines, I just picked almost a five gallon bucket of these just from the limbs they cut… gonna take em to my deer stand.

I’ll add to hog hunting thing…

My wife is highly allergic to pork, however she has absolutely no issues eating wild bore, none at all.

Imagine that!

‘organic’
