I put it in a sock dryer bag and whirl it around for 2 or 3 minutes then I stick it in my brass dryer and tumble dry it.

Never tried ultrasonic, but tons of it wet tumbling with media. After separating the wet media, toss the wet brass back into dry corncob and run it for a few hours. Does the best job of drying and polishing. First time I did it I knew it was going to be the worst mess I’d ever seen, but surprisingly, it isn’t. Does a fantastic job.

My new electric range has a warm function runs about 160 degree F. I have my own cookie sheet, wife demanded it, Let it go for 30 mins and shut it off and let it cool down works great

I also use the oven. You can go hotter than 180°, hot enough to boil the water off. Just don’t go hot enough to anneal the brass.

Bent up a 1/4" screen about he size of a box fan, laying flat on the fan almost 4 sq ft of area dries 2-3 hrs works good.

I’m lazy and used to shoot way too much to do much of this.
I just clean brass with some household stuff, like vinegar and maybe some small amount of brass cleaner.
Then just put it in the oven at a about 100 degrees or so.
Not enough to discolor the brass, though, as that might weaken it.
Done and finished.
See how simple life can be?
