was the only thing Trump said in his speech pertaining to the 2A
“Tonight was a rough night. I disrupted the State Of The Union and was detained because I let my emotions get the best of me. I simply want to be able to deal with the reality of gun violence and not have to listen to the lies about the 2A as happened tonight," Guttenberg said.
So apparently he doesn’t believe we have the right to keep and bear arms. Nancy invited this nut case
…or could be someone who supported the sheriff and school board that helped create the situation, and doesn’t want to face the implications of it having been wrong to support them.
So I feel for this guy losing his daughter and all. But why should his grief hold higher value than the thousands upon thousands of families that lose family members every year to drug pushers, car wrecks, drunk drivers, and on and on. Or how about the people that lose family members fighting to protect YOUR right to be an asshat at SOTU!
Why DOES you grief count more than theirs? IT DOESN"T! It is just that most of those folks don’t feel they are entitled to take something from someone else just because something was taken from them! And that is exactly what this person is trying to do! Because you lost a loved one I empathize with you. But that DOES NOT give you the right to steal my rights. No more than my cousin dying by electrocution while working on a power line gives me the right to take electricity away from everybody else.

I could respect the guy if he was speaking out on the failures of the people who actually failed in this situation…but since he made a clown out of himself blaming the wrong person and people, F him…
In the past, I have used someone I know as an example of how the news media will toss manners, empathy, and common human decency out the window, in an attempt to use a shooting death to promote the idea that guns are bad. The person lost her husband in an attempted robbery, and the news media repeatedly hounding her for an interview (after she had repeatedly refused), along with stalking her, cyberstalking her on social media, and attempting to ambush her as she left the funeral, put her in a state where she refused to leave her home without an escort for the following six months.
I have had gun control supporters respond in one of two ways, when they have bothered to respond:
the widow has a civic duty to use the death of her husband to attack the gun industry, the NRA, and gun owners who allow the deaths to continue
the news media is giving the widow the perfect opportunity to get her revenge on the gun industry, the NRA, and gun owners who allow the deaths to continue
The gun control lobby uses fake empathy as a propaganda tool, and has zero actual concern for who gets hurt (on either side of the issue).
Turning on the idiot box just lets the incessant propaganda into your AO.
From the corrupted media to all the “tan” commercials, the manipulation of the population has been in full swing for some time now.
Not unlike 1930’s nazi propaganda that consumed a whole country IMO
