Given how even a child could shut down major highways and bring food distribution to a halt, and given that stores don’t actually “store” anything because of the “just in time” method of restocking, we might. Yes, Venezuelans ate all the zoo animals, mules, and pets a long time ago. Yet, how many folks spend thousands on guns, but have nothing but cheap knives (which will be used much more)?

You mean you don’t yet have a secret Post Office box? :innocent::zipper_mouth_face:

I try never to use this one for day to day cutting.

That way it’s still sharp for zombie SHTF. :zombie: (Microtech Tachyon III)

Snagged an ESEE 5, didn’t really need one but then what’s that matter. This thing is a beast, 1/4 inch of thick arse 1095 goodness!

Wow. I didn’t even know they HAD washers and dryers in the trenches.

By a coincidence, I just ordered these yesterday:

Damn, nice blades guys!

I don’t have too much in the way of knives. I did pick up a Mossy Oak War Horse a couple years ago and even today, i am still shocked at how well it has held up…especially for a $20 knife!

Recently, I wanted a good Buck knife and reading online, it sounds like they don’t make them with the same quality steel today as they did 30 years ago, so off to Ebay I went lol. I got lucky and got a pair of 'em for $30! One was in the case, never used. The other had been used lightly.

I think it was my best Ebay purchase to date

I believe Dad left one of those pig stickers in our safe also. Gotta check on it’s origin.

Wilfred Owen, Siegfried Sassoon and other poets express best the war that gave rise to such ugly and brutal weapons as trench knives. Who knows but what you’re alive today because some ancestor, knee deep in mud, shoved that very blade into the body of another man first?
