I try never to use this one for day to day cutting.

That way it’s still sharp for zombie SHTF. :zombie: (Microtech Tachyon III)

Snagged an ESEE 5, didn’t really need one but then what’s that matter. This thing is a beast, 1/4 inch of thick arse 1095 goodness!

Gotta love the “skull crusher” on the 5!

Damn, nice blades guys!

I don’t have too much in the way of knives. I did pick up a Mossy Oak War Horse a couple years ago and even today, i am still shocked at how well it has held up…especially for a $20 knife!

Recently, I wanted a good Buck knife and reading online, it sounds like they don’t make them with the same quality steel today as they did 30 years ago, so off to Ebay I went lol. I got lucky and got a pair of 'em for $30! One was in the case, never used. The other had been used lightly.

I think it was my best Ebay purchase to date

:+1: Ah, Ebay. But for that site, I’d have retired by now.

I believe Dad left one of those pig stickers in our safe also. Gotta check on it’s origin.

Wilfred Owen, Siegfried Sassoon and other poets express best the war that gave rise to such ugly and brutal weapons as trench knives. Who knows but what you’re alive today because some ancestor, knee deep in mud, shoved that very blade into the body of another man first?

Just ordered me one of these , I wanted a beater to learn how to cut with. I learned the basics on blade alignment and stuff from escrima but that was with machetes not full on swords. Will probably buy a nicer one when funds allow. Im tearing that poofy ball thing off too.

Some broadsword goodness from Hollywood…even though I really dislike Neesen.

Also ordered one of these warhammers. Such a nasty looking weapon.
