Fiber Optic Front Sight? Yes or No?

Do you like a fiber optic front sight to help contrast with the rear sight?

I don’t like them I prefer night sights or three dot steel sights .

I can’t see any of my sights anymore…I’m practicing the Ray Charles method of shooting. :sunglasses:

But seriously, the front fiber optic sight on my Buckmark is great. Had a set on an SA XD and they really didn’t help me as much as the Browning for some reason.

I put a night site on the front of my carry Glock and couldn’t acquire it very fast in the daytime so I put the stock one back on. I thought about putting a fiber optic on it instead.

They work great outdoors or anywhere there is a lot of ambient light. I installed Truglo TFO/TFX sights on all of my competition and carry guns which combines fiber optic with a tritium backing. Allows for a consistent sight picture (combat hold).

Yep the TFO’s give me bright green dots for sights day or night.

prefer the tritium / night sights that I have over the Fibre Optics - but I prefer the fibre over the simple “painted” white dots.

The TFO’ have tritum in front of the fiber optic.

Hard to beat the Truglo tfx, the pro series has the orange ring, if that’s to your liking.
