I have tried that stuff in four different calibers and it ain’t worth a crap. It all went off but I couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn with it. stuff was all over the place.

I originally bought it to hunt with. I may have got a bad batch, I bought it all at the same place and time. after wasting a few days trying to get each one to work I gave up and ordered some Winchester deer season xp. haven’t had any more problems. my guns just don’t like that stuff. still got some of it I will never use other than maybe just blasting away at paper close range.

I have alot of perfecta brand ammo that was made by them and use it for paper or steel . For hunting I load my own.

Their ammo seems to be popular at action matches.
Close and large targets, usually no need for extreme accuracy.
Low prices, too.
It fits right in.
Different uses for different folks.
Just a thought.

I couldn’t get but about 10 inches at 100 yards with it. I was blaming my scopes and gun till they all done it. matter of fact I didn’t even try the 30-06. figured it was a waste of time too. But I get what you’re saying, it’s just not for my needs.

Ten inches at 100 yards is way more accuracy that most action style matches require.
Close and large targets remember.
I can remember only one match where shots at 100 yards were needed.
And, at one time, I went to a lot of matches.
saying, it’s just not for my needs.
Yes, exactly.

that was my thoughts when @Belt-Fed made his comments, Fiocchi is very popular in matches all over the place and sponsors a lot of competitiors, so it can’t be that bad overall… maybe they have just gotten way better recently

@Belt-Fed how long ago was this you had the issue?

Last summer.

They have a plant in Ozark Missouri and I live within 50 miles of it So you hear what they are loading. But we can not buy from the factory unless you know an employee.

I have fired lots of Fiocchi over the years…all handgun. Reliability has been fantastic and I haven’t noticed any accuracy issues. Lately, I did notice that ejection patterns were somewhat erratic with 9mm. I didn’t have any problems, just an observation at the range.

yeah, that was recent enough there should not have been any issues… you got me thinking now, may have to talk with them about your experience

It’s ok, I have moved on. the deer season XP works well in my guns. I didn’t shoot the 30-06. it may work in the bolt action. rarely do I shoot short range stuff. all my hunting rigs have to reach out there. I hunt in a cutover. Somewhere I had pics of the targets, i’ll see if I can find them

Diamondback DB15 in 300 blk
Diamondback DB10 in 6.5 Creedmore
Ruger SR7.62 in 308
Ruger American in 30-06

i believe it did come up during the podcast, they have not really focused on rifle caliber stuff much in the past and that is one thing they were trying to work on for 2020.

Perfecta has worked well for me in 9mm and 308. Before walmart went pussy locally could buy 9 for under $8 and 308 for $11 bucks a box.
