Good post!
One thing I would point out is that since the media has started its anti gun propaganda campaign starting with the Clintonistas the public has become far more educated on firearms.
Iā€™m sure that has an effect on reducing accidental deaths.
Now we need to educate the general public that firearms are just tools and not evil; and gun owners are not toothless backwoods hicks the anti gun crowd is convinced we are.

The so-called Mainstream Media are actively promoting themselves as the official mouthpiece for the liberals, left-wingers, socialists and other idiots. There are a few organizations that attempt to report a fair and unbiased fashion, but they are subject to retribution from the other side. The left is also very schooled in propaganda and selective topics and correspondents for manipulating the ā€œavailableā€ information. Hatchet jobs, verbal attacks and so on are so common it is similar to Truth or Dare game.
