1911 guys are usually the haters. Glocks know they are ugly but you guys keep feeling the need to put them down even more. The only safe space they get is in the holsters of half of the worlds LE and military. Such a sad depressing life.

I guess, it was grouping well. can’t complain. not much felt recoil and it shoots big holes. I like glocks too. I have a 19

I meant as in running it a few hundred rounds cleaning it frequently. Its a good idea to break in any 1911 that might be used for self defense. Its more so just checking for kinks with the gun.

I only put 50 rounds through it this time, skeeters were chewin and it’s hot and humid. plus I was kinda tired this afternoon I tore it apart though.

Look for wear patterns and check your measurements
Just some advice
The 1911 is a great pistol
I’ve never shot a ruger I’ve worked in a few of them
Basic shit like changing Springs and polishing

In Heaven , you can have endless access to any & all 1911’s. Any style-any size. Glocks are all melted down to make plastic drink coasters for the 647 draft beers on tap, or beverages of your choice…

In Hell, there there are only globs of dark plastic resembling piles of dog shit(ironic). For all the plastic pistols melted due to the extreme heat. (Guessing extreme heat due to global warming :rofl:)

I love 1911s as well as Glocks, I just refuse to carry a 1911 for personal defense. I do love shooting them though!
