Lol, yeahI aint never shot a 50WE but imagine a full house load of .454 from that FA aint no slotch either. I do like the magna porting on the barrel. Let me see is that winterville, OH. At SKS ??

I would add I see that is a 7.5 inch barrel or is it longer if Im not mistaken 7.5 about as short as I like when going afield for large game. Soaks up more recoil and tend to shoot a longer barrel better.

Yes, 7-1/2" barrel. 260gr FAFP coming out the pointy end north of 2000 fps. 34 grains of H110. Can’t seem to get those bullets, they quit making them I bought the last several hundred back around 2001? .

:smile: i know that feeling I used to order all my Bullets from beartooth bullets then something happened and he literally just disappeared. I have a ½ a box of 340gr left and thats all. So I ultimately just switched and started rolling my own used to order 300 and 340 from Him . Best bullets I ever found. I went with a 300gr. Molde first for deer and later I will aquire a 335 or 340 gr. Molde.
I havent chronographed mine but its right at that same fps. These are fun to shoot aint they… hehe :grimacing:

I aint trying to bash any particular brand but I got ahold of some Cast performance bullets supposed to have been lubed …
Yeah no way they was… those suckers was supposed to have a clear lube on them but they started leading the barrel and they had gaschecks on them also.
40 grains of H-110 was running them about 2000 and I like to have never got that crap out.
So I solved it by tumble lubing them in liquid alox.
Was a cheap and easy way to lube em.
I found that they performed just fine after that.
I just use them for plinking now though after I startednmaking my own gaschecked bullets.
They was 335gr. Anyhow. I still have about 75 of em may just make a bear load with em.
I load my .454 loads at milder rates around 1300-1500fps.
I actually just ran off a big batch need to do some loading.

Like to get the projectiles, they look good
I had so many at one time I would load 45 Colt magnum with the same bullets, almost ready to pull them to load more 454.
