That is certainly possible. There is usually more to the story…especially on Instagram. LOL

Try a S&W 41 or a Browning medalist like my Dad left my brother.
They’ll shoot keyholes all day
You’ll be converted.

I almost bought a Medalist in '73 but I was newly out of the military and $ was tight. I settled for a Challenger instead. It’s a shooter too though. It’s staying in the family. It’s far too nice to release it into the wild.

RJB, There is rimfire ammo that is reliable. I’ve never had a misfire with CCI or Federal Auto Match (bulk) and I shoot thousands of rounds of Auto Match. Can rimfire be unreliable? Certainly. One gets what one pays for and has to expect that. I’ve had misfires with inexpensive Thunderbolt ($13/500 back when), but after having written that I’ve also found that in at least a few .22s it is highly accurate. I was extremely surprised when I discovered that.

that’s my whole point, you never know with 22 ammo…I used to shoot smallbore competition in the Military and all we used was Eley and it had failures also. nature of the beast.
