Utah that is.
Milsurps are what I pine for and love to shoot them.
History behind them I cant get enough of.
I am however not a purist but do like to keep them originally fitted.
Look forward to the journey with you all.
Utah that is.
Be sure and post those pictures!

Welcome to the forum Brother!
What is your favorite mil-surp you own?
Favorite Milsurp is my Swede 96.
I refer to it as my Uglystick; but it is a work of military art.
Perfect balance, quality unmatched by even modern firearms; and a tack driver.
But as I get older the tack needs to be bigger. LOL
I got 95% of my firearms in the 80’s when they were affordable.
I get a new camera for XMas and will post pics when I can.
War Dept wont let me have it now… Happy Wife, Happy Life.
I collect rather unique firearms as I can and History behind them.
Look forward to hear comments as I post up.
I am not a purist however but do keep them in original clothes so to speak.
Welcome from Texas
Lucky! I’m going to go cry now!
Right, as who worried about buying cheap surplus when it was available??
Not me, and when I did, I sold it just as cheap
Hindsight is 20/20.
I was blind at the time…
I will join you in that crying session…
