I have a buddy who owns one. He swears that it is great little rat popper. He added a cheapo little red dot and holds about a 1” group at 25 yards. He says it’s finicky with certain mags, but a fun plinker. It does NOT equal the quality of a basic Ruger 10/22.

not much beats the Ruger 10-22 or maybe Marlin 60. if you get a chance, can you maybe ask what mags he finds works best. the original owner misplaced the original magazine and all i have is Pro Mags, I have never liked that brand.

Just talked to him. He says he only has factory mags. He isolated the bad mag and solved the issue by not loading it to capacity.

good to know, thanks, i have not found any stock magazines and light loading these pro mags dont help with the ammo that gives trouble.
