Is that the 44? I really like those Taurus revolvers.

From the color scheme that one looks like the 460 S&W Magnum.

That should git 'er done.

That is on my bucket list of calibers if like to shoot

@MAC82

It is a fun caliber to shoot. Lots of blast with recoil quite manageable.

And, not as much recoil as the .500 S&W magnum.

The ballistics are awesome. That’s why i want to try one out at 100 yards.

Yeah, they are pretty good. There is a gun writer that took the S&W .460 revolver to Africa to hunt large game. I can’t remember the name of the author, but if you do a search using “africa hunt with s&w 460” you should get some, if not all, of the related results.

Of course, if/when you want to tone it down some, you can also fire .454 Casull and/or .45 Colt, out of the same revolver. So, lots of versatility.

Have fun!

I want full power.

@MAC82

Well, maybe you should step up to the .500 S&W Magnum, then.

The .460 is pretty darn powerful - especially for a handgun, but the .500 is even more powerful. Be prepared to pay extra for the .500 ammo, though. The gun is about the same price either way.

The extra power to recoil isn’t worth it.
