Looks kind of cool I have always liked Savage rifles.

Looks good. I like Savage also.
Having a few roller lockers, HK’s, I understand the concept. Like an air hose connector too.
Done right should prove to be a good rifle.

Makes a Mk 4 Enfield [IMHO one of the fastest/smoothest bolt rifles] look slow.

It would seem so; I had never heard of it until you mentioned it and I looked it up. I had not even heard about the Savage until 2 days ago, you may have noticed I am a little slow

Yep different.
IMHO similar concept.
A wedge pushes balls or rollers into place for lockup.
I’m simple tons of times.

I’m on the Savage forum and these appeared, disappeared, and then reappeated last month. Interesting, but hardly a game changer. There’s something to be said for the leveradge a cam action gives the earlier 10/110 Savage action - and like most other bolt-actions - that can be a handy feature in harsh conditions.

If your first shot is good you seldom need a fast follow up under hunting conditions. They make semi’s for multiple targets if that is your intent.

the price bites - you can get a better, more accurate and lighter rifle for a lot less (thinking Bergara)
