Hello all, MAC checking in

I don’t know how much of an introduction I need to make, but then I suppose a good number of you don’t know who I am.

I go by “MAC” which is Military Arms Channel however my name is Tim. I started MAC a decade ago on YouTube.

I’m a founder of Full30 in that I was one of the original 3 guys with the vision to create an alternative to YouTube. I’ve been preaching for 5 years or so that YouTube would eventually push us aside and I, along with our oringal founding partners, agreed someone had to step-up and build a new home for the firearms and outdoor community. Most of the bigger players initially thought I was off my rocker and believed YouTube would be our friends forever. :stuck_out_tongue:

Full30 was born.

I don’t have much to do with the day to day business operations of Full30. I am part of the overall management, but I’m not an employee or anything. I’m funded completely by my Patreon support and merch sales of t-shirts and such.

I am a political activist. I spend equal amounts of time these days creating content and fighting for our 2A rights. This week I signed on to a lawsuit to sue the government, with the assistance of my friends at Gun Owners of America, over the pending bumpstock ban. Aside from that I work with groups who promote net neutrality and communicate with congressmen and senators, along with various gun rights groups in an ongoing mission to do my part to stop new anti-gun laws from happening, fight the tide of political biases and censorship online and to roll back already existing anti-gun laws.

It’s a full time gig that keeps me working 7 days a week from 6am until midnight or later most every day.

I’ve collected firearms for 30 years. I once was an Executive VP for an international advertising firm (two actually) and single. So I made good money, lived alone and invested in firearms. That gave me the foundation for my YouTube channel.

YouTube sucks. It’s a monopoly that is also a major political actor that, as fate would have it, sides with socialist/communist political philosophies and is vehemently anti-gun on top of that. They discriminate against several groups in their censorship, harassment and inconsisent contractual treatment of their content creators… and I combat that as much as I can as well.

Full30, I believe is the future for content but it’s up to each and every one of us to spread that message.

Sure, there have been some upstarts that raced to market during the last big scare where everyone thought gun Chanel’s were getting the boot from YouTube, but these poorly conceived and executed sites are already falling by the wayside. Full30 is the oldest, best built, most stable and most committed to our community. Others will come and go, but Full30 is the oldest and proved what others said couldn’t be done could in fact be done, if done right.

Ok, I’ve rambled on enough. Oh, and don’t take anything I’ve said above to be a statement of “I did this”. While the original idea was in part mine, the execution and day to day management falls to the partners who have done an amazing job while I continue to focus on my content creation and political activism. Mark and Scott have done the heavy lifting around here making Full30 what it is today.

Thanks all for being part of the community. Please spread the word and revcruit creators and consumers to help grow our thriving community.

Tim

Thanks for all you have done @MAC I can say after spending many months researching all the I’m the next youtube for guns sights, here was the top of my list. I found a lot of unstable sights, or very slow, or didn’t pay content creators. Full30 was the only place I found that had both videos and a forum. My prediction is the big anti-social-media sites are pushing people away with silly rules that aren’t enforced equally among all. I believe people are going to shift back to forums as a way of sharing ideas with other people that believe the same as them. Screwtube deleted my channel after 8 months of harassing me. I’m proud to be here now and have no interest in hosting videos any place else.

I too have been a 2A activist. Been involved in marches, stood up to sheriffs that tried to violate rights, and got things changed in my state of Wisconsin. People who don’t stand up for what they believe in will fall for anything.

I will keep doing all I can to spread the word about this sight as well as contact businesses that could benefit from advertising here. One place you may want to consider contacting is sdi.edu I’m taking classes there now for my associates degree in firearms technology. Their target client would be a viewer here.

Damn @MAC, I have been a fan almost as long as you’ve been making vids. Not too many people on my bucket list of folks I’d love to shoot with.

What’s it take to put a rifle in your hands? At the very least, how do I talk you into stopping by my SHOT booth.

Thanks @MAC! I have enjoyed your videos for years.

I think it is important that the history of Full30 is told for I feel these days are critical for the 2A. We have government schools brainwashing children, people trying to erase history (yes some of our history is dark and not or best moments but we overcame that and it made us who we are), media controlling the stories, career politicians that are busy building their power and dynasty, as well as, judges creating law from their bench.

Full30 is truly a different platform. There are videos on onside and an active forum on the other. No matter what your need is, you can have a single place to go, learn and contribute to a sport that we all enjoy.

Keep up the good fight. While facebooger and more and more instagazom suppress posts there is less and less of a place where enthusiasts can come and chat.
We need you here more often because you have such a huge following.

Hi Tim.

Thank you for all the actual action you do in the fight for our 2nd amendment rights. All too often people say they will do x,y,or z, and they do nothing at all.

Thanks man. I don’t attend SHOT Show anymore. I’ve tried to detach myself from the industry. I’ve focused on consumer advocacy.

For me to take a look at a rifle I generally need to have a legitimate interest in it. Then, through our gun shop, I would ask for dealer/distributor/industry pricing. Given finances are tight, I don’t buy expensive firearms all that often. Sometimes if it’s something I really-really want to shoot (like a recent .45 ACP Luger) I’ll accept a T&E but I disclose to the audience it’s a loaner.

Thanks for following us for all those formative years. Hopefully we have a lot more in us… but I’m no spring chicken. LOL
