Russ always loves when he gets intelligible answers, it just warms him, calms him, makes him docile

Ashlete,
Welcome to the forum.
The best place to learn is at one of the recognized training schools.
Far better than trying to learn from a forum or online videos.
Clint Smith’s Thunder Ranch isn’t too far from you.

Welcome, Ashlete, from the free state of Missouri.

You should be able to find videos on gun care and maintenance here.

I use Outers Nitro CLP (Clean, Lube, and Protect) to dissolve the bad stuff on my guns. Lucas Extreme Duty gun oil to lube the small parts, and Lucas X-tra Heavy Duty grease for the major moving parts. You can go quite a few rounds before you clean. You don’t have to clean after each trip to the range, unless you’re shooting hundreds of rounds each time.
