I have a few bolt actions (Mosin, 1903, K98…) and recently bought a PSA AR mid-length and am learning how to clean that. I know little about firearms in general, I just know what I like – mostly WWII rifles.
I grew up around small rifles, keeping the larger rodents out of our garden with a .22. Our family was very welcoming to hunters, who were welcome on our land provided they gave us a heads up so us kids knew when to keep clear of the woods.
I usually shoot at American Shooting Center on Westheimer in Houston. I love to take new shooters to the pistol range, especially immigrants and especially women. They pay attention better in my experience and have fewer preconceived notions.
I followed Mosinvirus over here after watching his Mauser video.
I have one, or possibly two distinct feed & extract problems with my Mauser, which I will post about later.
