Holster question Tege

I’m looking at a holster from Tege. It’s a polymer and very inexpensive. Considering the theory of you get what you pay for, I’m curious. Anyone here have any experience with them? I did a search on the site and didn’t find anything.

Might just do that. It’s only $21.

Probably about like every other polymer holster out there. My club doesn’t allow holsters with the outer retention release systems that use the trigger finger. I think it has something to do with safety, but not sure.

I don’t belong to a club anymore

So I don’t need no stinking retention system

My firearm will save my life, my life is not worth cheap.
I use a Mitch Rosen shoulder rig.
The Sig P220 was not cheap either.
I am flippin worth it.

Thanks for the replies. I’m not worried about it being cheap. I’m just looking for something that will hold the pistol without rattling and will last a while. I’ve been using a simple leather “sleeve” by Allen but they are tearing. If I don’t like the Tege I may go to Diamond D or similar.

What I hate about polymer holsters is over time the wear the finish on a gun faster than anythingelse. They are uncomfortable and they degrade and will break…go leather .

I agree. Even leather has worn the finish on beloved CZ 75B so much that I am thinking about buying a new slide stop and safety for it when I buy a 9mm side for it.

Tege - made in china
Alien Gear - made in the USA.
DeSantis - made in the USA

As for a holster causing your CWP wear?
The CWP is a tool - not a shelf queen.
My grandfathers Colt 1903 [his motor officer boot backup] has wear. I look at it and see that as an important part of it’s history.

Not a safe queen. Just beloved.

She’s no longer a daily carry. That’s the role of the P09 now a days.

Not to worried about her wear.

Well, the Tege came in Friday. I strapped it on after checking out how the XDS fit in it and so far it feels ok. I’ll have to get used to it of course, but so far I’m happy with it. So far the comfort is good. I’ll post an update after I’ve used it for a while.
