that’s it for me, small rifles good for thick brush areas and all the knockdown needed,

not to say I haven’t hunted with other calibers just not successfully

would like to get a BP for the extended season though

Even though I own hunting rigs in 30-06, 30-30, 308win and 264Winmag, I always end up using my sporterized 1903A3 in '06 for deer, elk and bear. Why mess with 40 years of success.

I think I’d get a custom front bumper made, something like what you’d see after the apocolypse, you know the one with spikes (pointing forward). Sorta like a fish stringer but in this case for deer.

Not personally but I know several people that have. It is very common in the area I live in but also illeagl and done at night while road hunting.If I had done something like that my Dad would have kicked my ass for a week we follow all game laws to the letter and don’t need to have a reputation like that.
