The peaceful rally was a good first step in that when it comes time to actually use the 2nd amendment as it was intended,we can point back and say we tried this peacefully. The problem is they dont care. They arent afraid of peaceful. They were probably passing this stuff while laughing at us,flipping us off,and calling us chicken shits that will never do anything about it.

This still needs to pass the legislative process. Or did you not read it? It was advanced, yes. However it still has two steps to become law (that point it can actually be challenged in court)

I presented the facts… He presented a fact-less case. The baby boomers have become sedate and sessile. To avoid a strawman statement I will temper this with ‘as a whole.’
More and more battles are being won by the new generation who have been taught to be socialists and communists because people wont get off their asses or “believe that people are overreacting or it cant happen here” There are two ways to light someones fire… Inspiration and rage. Both however require that you create a spark in some fatass lazy Boomer.

I have a serious question, just what would you have the citizens of Virginia do? It’s not the gun owners fault the dems are in power. i’m sure none of them voted any in office. This spark you speak of…if it entails violence then what do you propose? do you think they should go in with guns a blazin and shoot all the government officials? That’s pre meditated murder in case you must know.
You are not overseas fighting a battle either you signed up to do or was drafted years ago. this is American soil. you just can’t go shoot everyone that disagrees with you. I understand ya’lls frustration, it certainly sucks what is going on. They do need to understand that any confiscation that tries to take place will be met with resistance. let them figure out what the resistance will be.
Education is the key to getting rid of these idiots, but problem is they are doing the educating. I’ll crawl back in my bunker now and shut up.

Public identification/naming and humiliation are worth a try. As someone who is largely immune to education and who regularly humiliates himself, I can attest to its occasional effectiveness.

It’s a method that the left seems to think is very effective and should be used as one of the first steps. They do it with anyone they decide to single out, and they do it with groups - such as publishing the names and addresses of people with handgun permits.
There have been a few incidents of democrat politicians reacting quite emotionally to the idea of this being done to them, when they are already public figures.
