I need to relax, and so the best way for me to relax? Skyrim

That’s funny. I own all three XBOX One console versions (original, S & X) and none of them crash. My PS4 crashes a lot. As does everyone in my friends list that I game with. My XBOX 360 slim crashes a few times in Skyrim but that generation of consoles (xb360 / ps3) couldn’t handle it.

Either way it isn’t dampening my desire to keep playing. Hah.

Yea , ive always had better luck with Sony though…some people just have better luck with different things. Most the people I game with are PS people though for the same reason I am. I just have hsd way better experience with the system/company going back to the first generation of PS and xbox. I am not anti-xbox though and would buy one if they brought back the exclusives I like, I trust them more now than 10 years ago. Google on the other hand…well I am anti-google lol

Oh…I like Nintendo too but to a lesser extent than PS or Xbox. After the N64 they went a more “family friendly” route and it just didnt click as well.

100%.

I’ve owned every console except the Switch and WiiU simply because I like options. I’ll be getting a Switch this holiday.

This is my gripe. The XBOX 360 had a ton of exclusives and in general RPGs I liked. The XBOX One seems to be lacking this and because Sony paid for the exclusives first and also because they bought more developers this cycle. Everything goes in a cycle with consoles. PS2 did better than XBOX. XBOX 360 killed the PS3 and the PS4 outsold the XBOX One. My money is on the next XBOX and the only way Sony kills it again is to do a full self-owned physical copy backwards compatibility with all previous PlayStations. THAT would kill the XBOX this next generation.

I dont think the 360 killed ps by any means and I dont think ps4 was any “better” off a system than xbox1 despite sales numbers. Just different strokes for different folks, more a matter of preferences.

Just a night owl. I went to a doctor last week. First she said “no more caffeine” when she found out I only drink water and coffee. She said that was the answer to my problems. Then she said it was anxiety and I needed to go to some stress center and that was the answer to all my problems. Then she found out I smoked. Holy Hanna. She told me quitting smoking would fix all my problems, every one of them. Then she told me to stop eating fried foods and fats.
Then she said I need a tetinus shot for some unknown reason because I haven’t had one since I was a kid. Then she said i needed a flu shot and I told her “no”. She asked when I went to the doctor last and I told her in 2005 for my surgery and before that 1992 when I delivered my last child. I told her I’m never sick and never go to a doctor. She asked me what my secret was and I told her “Coffee and cigarettes!!”

There’s exactly why I hate the medical industry and doctors. I don’t do shots or medications and I never get sick. The rare time I do it goes away on its own so no need to put foreign substances in my body.

Anyway, back on topic.

Got a good amount of relaxing yesterday. If its slow again today I may just play it some more. :sunglasses:

Oh, I asked my daughter about Skyrim. She said its her favorite game. She said she likes going around collecting books.
She said I played it years ago on her PS3 and I was a wood elf. I don’t remember though.

I don’t do anything to relax anymore. I just stay wound up. I should look for a game to play though. Years ago I loved playing Ultima Online (UO). That was…oh my gosh…17 years ago.? I had several accounts. Loved developing my characters and working their skills.

She has good taste.

And do us all a favor, find something you can do to relax. Being high strung all the time leads to heart attacks and or strokes. We don’t want that. LOL We need you to help fight the millennial socialist invasion!

Well, getting on here helps. I’m usually pretty mellow anyway, so it’s only the times that I get upset from all the political BS that I need to find a release for. Luckily I have low blood pressure.
I’ve never owned a game console. Maybe I should buy one. I did see a game quite a while back that looked interesting at Best Buy. Tom Clancy’s The Division. But really, I just need to see what’s out there. Something with great graphics.

if you have enough property and the ability to buy bulk ammo - go make your self a run and gun course. Put up your favourite caricature for targets and merrily blaze away.

Can you run .exe?

I don’t find real shooting relaxing. Strange, I know. But honestly, I don’t like it. I do however have a target right outside my door. I built a stand. When the neighbor gets to screaming, I go outside and shoot to cover the sound of her screams. She hates it when I do that. Then she starts screaming at me and calling me all sorts of names, which doesn’t really matter cuz she is cursing and screaming anyway before I even go out there.
I tried sewing, but that’s too quiet. Kind of boring too.

That would be a question for my better half. Not sure.
