Israel and Hamas

That Russian joke instantly triggered memories of Yakov Smirnoff in the 1980’s. Didn’t that joke originate with him?

I think we can agree Soros is evil, he raised his two sons to be evil, and his use of the billions he acquired by destroying national economies is likewise evil. I see no redeeming value in him and I’m certain he will go down into Sheol unlamented!

When you could buy freedom in a box?

Still can, on eBay

Neither did any one else.

Even seen a Biden shirt or bumper sticker?
I live between Sadom & Gomorra, and Ive not seen one yet.

“In Soviet Union, you may not be able to find a party…
But The Party can always find You”

Change union to democrapic party and you have same thing.

My dad had an uncle by marrage that "worked"for the water department in Albany New York that told him that the state was ran by three groups . Unions ,demicraps and the mob . And they were all one and the same.

All three you mention combined is the Federal Government…

This photo of Israeli ladies learning to shoot has been circulating in Jewish social media.

I’m kvelling.

Bahahaha!!!

Same thing gets same response…

I had to look that one up

Its a great photo and I encourage it, but it misses the mark, we can all learn defense and arm up, when the economy collapses we can better kill one another trying to survive, stealing food from the lessor prepared, population control at its finest, a total chaos

Once were all fed up, mourning and starving, a new leader can come in and convince us to exchange our remaining freedoms for food and security

history repeats, becomes exceedingly efficient as it does

The Vicious Cycle…round and round we go…

I’m hoping this little war is over soon. And I hope Israel requires everyone to keep their pistols/rifles from now on!

Lets up date that pic a bit

Looks as though Israel is giving up on taking hamas completely out…politics will win again and fix nothing…

They want the hostages back, then its back to plowing the field

Do you think hamas will give up all the leverage ?

Hamas takes prisoners because they know Israel will trade many terrorists to save one of their own.

I’m not sure what to think. On one hand, I don’t want to let any terrorists free. On the other hand, should Israel remove all incentive for Hamas to preserve any prisoners, and make attacks deadlier?

There is a Jewish law that a hostage is not to be redeemed for more than he is worth, lest criminals be enticed to gather more hostages. A famous case of this was the Maharam of Rothenburg, who was arrested in 1286 when he attempted to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. The authorities imposed an exorbitant ransom to release him, but the Maharam (citing this law about limits on ransoms in the Talmud) forbade anyone to pay it. He spent the rest of his life in captivity and his body was ransomed years later.

Prisoner exchanges have been a dirty feature of nearly every war in recent history. They certainly were around during WWII. Even the Romans and the ancient Chinese practiced a form of it.

At the same time, redeeming a captive is a huge mitzvah, and there are stories about righteous people who sacrificed huge sums to redeem inn- and tavern-keepers who were imprisoned (often with their families) by the local Polish landlords for being behind on their rent. When the rents were paid, the landlords usually released them.

So, how does America pay its debt?

Officially the United States court system operate under common law (or the Law of the Land). As the District of Columbia is home to the (private) Federal Government, though, it operates under Maritime Law. This is sometimes called Admiralty Law, which is essentially the Law of the Sea.

Sorry, missed your reply until now, its well written and I believe summed best as
“Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”

the operative word is pursuit, so yes, each person decides for themselves what this dream is, but isn’t the best pursuit to realize that a dream is not reality?

Tell me the reality is better than the dream
But I found out the hard way, nothing is what it seems!

Whats the price of dreaming?

Is it not missing out on being awake?

You made me master of the world where you exist
The soul I took from you was not even missed, yeah

And what happens when the dreaming is done?

You had the chance
But you turned it down
Now you can’t retrieve

lets examine, Morpheus, the god of sleep says were all batteries and sleeping in a computer generated dream world

If we’re batteries we have both positive and negative ends

So the question, if life is but a test, a battery test, then who will we serve for eternity once we awake, the negative - or the positive +?

Why are there so few with Morpheus?

On the Nebuchadnezzar?

Babylon… Mother?

MA’TRIX, n. [L. matrix, from mater, mother.]

The question

Is this a cure or is this a disease?

Is answered simply… yes.

Humans, the disease that cures

If they can awaken out of their slumber.
