This makes me think that rather than cutting off funds to stores that support us because of these things, we should work on dirtying up the redcoatsā€™ data.

Gun stores should branch out and sell other items, like drug stores sell so much more that most people donā€™t actually shop there for medicine most of the time. Maybe if they also sold electronics, tools and camping supplies, that would be good business. It would also make the merchant code much less useful.
