Another plastic 9mm? How revolutionary , they spent millions making a very plain plastic 9mm. Maybe they should try the AR market next.

Got mine today, shot it, making the film this weekend.
Brief summary.
Its basically a Ruger American with ambi controls and an easy optic install option.
It feels nice but, its not a “glock killer” as ive seen it described. The trigger has a super long reset. Kind of like a VP9. I will have much more info in the video but, here are the two weapons side by side (ruger and Masada)

Reset is LOOONNGGGG.
Pull on mine averaged 4.6 with a very short uptake and a crisp break.
Very much like a H&K VP9 Trigger

Long trigger reset is disappointing. Hopefully aftermarket comes up with a nice solution fast

That will be clarified more in the review.
For the record I have zero complaints about accuracy and the sights are really easy to pick up.
Similar sight picture to the Walther PPQ. The sights are set high enough that the frame of the weapon doesn’t pollute your forward vision and the sight picture. 3 White dots.

Only polymer 9mm i like more than Glocks are HKs (the USP and VP9), the Masada just dosnt do anything for me.

heresy - the only thing you should like are Walthers and maybe H&K.

I forgot about Walther, they are good too. They probably have the best trigger on a striker fired pistol. H&K has a shittier trigger but they are tanks completely over-built , over engineered and over priced but I would bet money the USP could survive more abuse than Glock or any of the other wonder 9 pistols.
