Well who ever they are, they got some serious $$$.

Went to a gun show a week or so ago. First one in Idaho I’d been to. Had my expectations pretty high.

Had that FN PS90 on my radar. ( yeah, I know… I’m behind the curve.) saw it listed but out of stock on line for about $1600. Saw one at the show… $3k. Bugger off numbnuts

Also some guy had some 9mm. 100 rounds. Wanted $149

Disappointing day (and 2 hr drive each way.)

The last 2 gun shows i went to was just to see the crazy prices. I did get a box of Underwood 10mm for normal price so i call that a win

The irony is that when we were in So. Cal. the show was huge and 20 minutes away. Near impossible to buy a gun but bulk ammo was easy ( up until they wanted a background check to buy ammo.)

Now in Idaho private transfers are a breeze but they want your first born child for a brick of .22

Oh and primers? Haven’t seen those in a while. Bet they’re kept in a safe, inside a mountain these days.

The problem isn’t with these new gun owners, but with their intent. Most of us in the Second Amendment community took to firearms for noble, or altruistic, or pragmatic reasons. We protect and support right’s for ourselves and we protect the right’s others, we choose to take up firearms to provide safety for the people that we care about and our neighbors, some of us use firearms as a daily tool in our trade. Most of us pick up a gun for a well thought out reason, not out of fear or hate. Many of these new gun owners are of a different breed. They do not share our love of freedom, and would instead sacrifice it under the guise of security and safety to those who would provide neither. That is at best… at worst, they will use them against us out of hatred for being different than them, all the while calling us bigots, and racist, and fascist. When these people are done with the dismantling of the Second Amendment, they will cast aside the tools that they took up out of fear and discard them in favor of the yoke of their oppressors.
