NSSF: January 2021 Gun Sales Up 75% From Last Year! - GunsAmerica Digest!
Bet they’d be higher if shops had more staff and NICS only took seconds
And they are all looking for ammo
On one hand I love the thought of all these new gun owners discovering the freedom of the 2A, on the other hand they have really messed up my hobby!
This
And I really don’t see an end to the ammo shortage any time in the near future.
Well who ever they are, they got some serious $$$.
Went to a gun show a week or so ago. First one in Idaho I’d been to. Had my expectations pretty high.
Had that FN PS90 on my radar. ( yeah, I know… I’m behind the curve.) saw it listed but out of stock on line for about $1600. Saw one at the show… $3k. Bugger off numbnuts
Also some guy had some 9mm. 100 rounds. Wanted $149
Disappointing day (and 2 hr drive each way.)
yeash
yeah, they are hit/miss during good times, I bet a bit more miss these times
The last 2 gun shows i went to was just to see the crazy prices. I did get a box of Underwood 10mm for normal price so i call that a win
I know.
The irony is that when we were in So. Cal. the show was huge and 20 minutes away. Near impossible to buy a gun but bulk ammo was easy ( up until they wanted a background check to buy ammo.)
Now in Idaho private transfers are a breeze but they want your first born child for a brick of .22
Oh and primers? Haven’t seen those in a while. Bet they’re kept in a safe, inside a mountain these days.
Yup, you is correct.
But my cuzin is purty raght?
Yeah, good thing she can cook…
Think of them as resupply points.
Think we will see an increase in production or will gun/ammo companies keep production rates low in case of anti-gun legislation?
They will sell as much as they can as fast as they can
Then production will steadily increase untail they hit the sweet spot, right?
I think they are going balls to the wall now, remember Reminton went down this year, left a hole in the supply chain and demand is way up
