Actually, my nukes comment would go for about any bomb or missile.
Cannons are currently legal to own.
Modern cannons with cased ammunition are heavily regulated by the federal government under the 1934 National Firearms Act, but they are legal to own, once you jump through all the paperwork hoops to buy them.
Older technology (1800s and earlier) cannons can be bought with no government paperwork, and the regulations on them are mainly limited to regulations on safe storage of the powder, though NFA restrictions would apply to any explosive shells you obtain or make. Solid, canister, chain, or even sabot projectiles would not require paperwork.
Great point
Before 1906 when the states decided to have their own armies, the militias were put by the way side.
We the People are now outlaws in the gobermints eyes
The ONLY tweak to the IIA needed would be to replace the term “right” and replace it with the term “requirement” or “duty”.
fixed
I like that too.
Don’t laws that violate citizen’s rights deserve to be ignored?
There is legal precedent for that yes
That’s great meme material right there. I made one for you.
Any history behind that image, I’ve seen it but cannot remember where it came from. I’d like to read about it.
Here is the tweak all the libtards seem not to understand.
SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED
We are the MILITIA, so we the people get to have them.
