Loctite Gel

I just noticed this on the shelf, so I bought some. Has anyone tried it yet? I used it on my Aero Precision build and it was much easier to handle. No runny mess or over-application.

I thought you were a white guy?

Anyways, is that gel heat resistant like the red loctite or is it closer to the other stuff? I still havnt put loctite on my buffer tube threads :hushed:

Green loctite is great because it’s nit permanent it allows you to use heat to remove it
I haven’t really messed with the gel

I still haven’t staked a castle nut either. Proper torque seems to work every time. I use blue for the small stuff (anti-walk trigger pins, scope mounts, MBUS sights, etc).

Blue works well for sure
I just prefer green it’s more permamanet
