I take a Jeep load of firearms and ammo to AZ almost every fall to shoot in the desert. We have a mile target. 100,200,300,450,600, 850, 1000 yds and a mile.
As long as it is legal in your state and the state your traveling to you are good by law.
I do drive south and not go through Illinois.

I wish I could give you more then 1 beer for that.
Before I die I’m going to hook up with you guys for a spring or fall shoot.
This earning a living thing really gets in the way of the better things in life.

We had one of those camera setups for long range, someone hit it. Can’t hit a 30" steel but no problem hitting a 6" camera.
This video was a lot better then his glock video, backstop on that one was so big that splatter took out the balloon. this was a well placed shot. Not sure what the red dot was, but it would probably cover the entire backstop.

The redot appeared to be a Viper …

Not spraying just bad shots. Have had shooters place 6 or 12 rounds within a foot of the 600 yard 30X30 and not hit it, and others that spread their rounds all over the hillside and one of those do hit the steel.
