Not a good move for PR. I don’t have anything against the Col. He did what he believed duty required and didn’t lie about it. Maybe not what I would have done. I don’t know. I do have respect for him for that though. I just think the already hostile media will use this to our disadvantage. The right thing for him to do again would be to decline this offer. That would show character in my book.
