New Toy/Hobby

This isn’t gun related, but cool nonetheless. I got a Cricut Maker. It is basically a crafters’s CNC machine. It cuts, engraves, debosses, etc on all sorts of mediums, even thin pieces of wood, like balsa wood. I got it to make stuff for the 2 baby showers I’m currently planning. I’ve made a banner and some onsies so far. But the design software is super easy and it can cut very detailed stuff. I’m sure to be making some custom 2A t-shirts in the near future.

One daughter is having a girl and we’re doing a Harry Potter theme shower. So here’s a few things I made.

So is this a pattern cutter that cuts shapes out of fabrics?
Sort of a CNC for Fabric?
I looked on Stewtube but the videos are a bit vague.

I had a friend who had one of these, she mentioned vinyl, I guess like the iron on stuff? I never saw her machine or anything she had made though.

seen a friend that had one made for his son. Onesie that read hey ladies I was born 21 inches long.
Laughed my butt off, his wife not so much but she gave in and lets the boy wear it every once in a while

It cuts more than just fabric. Adhesive vinyl, like for making signs, heat transfer vinyl (aka iron on), plastic (like to make stencils), wood, cardboard (think greeting cards), etc. if it can be cut with an Exacto knife, this will cut it.

Not yet, maybe for the other grandbaby, lol. That’s a boy. We’re doing a lumberjack theme for that shower

Ok that helps.
Hmmmm just thinking here.

That lumberjack one is perfect for the nephew living in Alaska.

So my aunt is getting married at the end of the month. She and her fiancé are both into motorcycles a lot. So I made these shirts for them to commemorate the wedding.

Made the designs myself!
